woman moisturizing her handsThe weather is changing, and everything is dryer- the outdoors and my skin. In order to remedy this, I put forth some effort into regularly moisturizing my skin. Now I have my normal glow and no dryness. Also, I think it’s helping me retain my tan!

  1. Cetaphil- Cetaphil is an industry leader and staple and has been for man yyears now. The fragrance free one is best for sensitive skin, and it is relatively inexpensive as well. It is lightweight, perfect for under makeup, and not going to make you break out. It has a daily dose of sunscreen to protect you from the outdoors and rays you can even get in your car. It really works!
  2. Proactiv Solution Green Tea Moisturizer is a little pricier, but it’s worth it. Green tea helps prevent skin cancer because it feeds free radicals and reduced inflammation. It can enhance your SPF when in use. It can help rosacea and reddening as well. The antioxidants can help reduce aging and it’s deeply moisturizing (even more than Cetaphil) without clogging pores.
  3. If your skin is really dry, Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion is the way to go. It is definitely my favorite for snowy winters. My mom used this when I was a child, and it’s been around for years. While it seems kind of heavy, it actually absorbs very quickly and you’ll notice a dramatic improvement quickly. This is the perfect companion for your next ski trip!
  4. Oil of Olay Complete All Day UV Moisturizer also combines a sunscreen with a non-greasy lotion for combination or oily skin. The vitamins and E and C help nourish skin and keep it soft and smooth. The sunscreen in this has Zinc Oxide to block UVA and UVB rays. This works for even the most sensitive skin. If you can find the older version, it is better than the new one!
