Spring is upon us, and you know what that means. “In like a lion, out like a lamb” the rain is approaching, and there is nothing we can do to stop it. Though we all know rain is a necessity to live, that does not stop us from being annoyed by it. But just because it is raining outside does not give an excuse for you to dress like a bum (queue myself). Dress to stand out in the drab rain! Nordstrom offers up a wide variety of raincoats. The coats come in short, long, and medium length ones. There are ones that are of the trench and tie variety, some that are great for daytime or a run in the spring dew, and some that zip up. They even sell one in a bright green, which is a color that is a hit for the upcoming season.
My current favorite is this one by Impermeable Platinum by Weatherproof here: Here It comes in lime green or black, so if you want to stand out, you can, but if you are into a more timeless jacket, the black is just for you. Nordstrom also has Hunter brand tall rainboots in punchy bright colors. The bright “Lava Orange” is a lot of fun… almost as much fun as the future puddles you will be jumping into there! On your way out, stop by the accessories section of Nordstrom to see the adorable Western Chief umbrellas. They come in silly modern and bold patterns that are fun for the young at heart.
