I am a huge fan of food blogs, and one of my favorites is SoDelushious.com, by Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen. She posts amazing recipes, and one that I have used quite frequently is her recipe for an extremely versatile and easy to make Chipotle Marinade.

This marinade is nothing short of amazing. It works well on chicken, shrimp, and veggies (fresh or frozen), and it is easy to freeze and use later, which makes it an extremely easy go-to choice for any quick, last minute meals. When I make the marinade I will usually quadruple the recipe below, and store the leftover marinade in a ziploc bag in my freezer.

Ingredients
*2 chipotle chiles in adobo
*3 tablespoons tequila or vodka
*2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
*1 tablespoon ketchup
*1 tablespoon adobo sauce, from chipotle can
*1 clove garlic, chopped
*2 teaspoons packed light brown sugar
*1/4 teaspoon salt
*1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions
* Gather all your ingredients and throw them in a blender – and hit puree. That’s it!

One thing to keep in mind is that the recipe is very hot – but, you can reduce the heat by adding in extra brown sugar and ketchup. View more delicious recipes at SoDelushious.com!
