Some of my best memories growing up are the times that I spent making crafts with my mother. In fact, some of the best quality time we have together even as adults is doing creative things; whether it’s baking, brainstorming ideas for parties, or trading new dinner recipes we’ve tried recently.
While I am personally not a mother (yet), I have had a ton of experience in babysitting. I created and taught an after school art program in college, and I was raised by an art teacher, so children’s crafts are something I love to do with others to this day.
I also love spreading the crafty love since I truly believe that creating art with friends and loved ones is wildly important, and creative expression for kids is even more important.
Here are some of my favorite Easter Crafts that you can do with children of all ages.
Bunny Ear Head Band – OK this craft just made my heart burst. It is SO adorable, and super easy. All it takes is some pipe cleaner, ribbon and a glue gun. It is wildly adorable, and we want to go make some right now.
Cardboard Tube Easter Bunnies – We love any craft that uses normal household items like paper towel and toilet paper tubes. Your kids will love this one, as they choose their paint color and help you glue the eyes and ears onto their bunny! A cute decoration you will keep in the house for a long time.
Easter Bunny Photo Frame – This is adorable, and something you can even gift to friends and family. Seeing their picture in the frame will make them feel super special and this is an adorable craft to keep on your mantle year round!
Easter Bunny Hand Prints – We’ve seen a lot of our new mommy friends create fun hand print designs and thought this one was really adorable, and a craft you can do with the younger ones!
I’m off to the craft store now to load up on materials. Happy crafting!
