Las Vegas has a new playground!  The brand new Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is now open and it’s amazing!  Located near the year old City Center, the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas brings to it another amazing hotel with incredible attractions.   The addition of DJ booths around the main casino floors brings back the original integrity of Vegas- Entertainment.

The rooms are just gorgeous, they feature modern details all with the comfort you would want while at a hotel.  All of the rooms have a terrace, something very unique for a Vegas hotel.

One of the most intriguing parts of the hotel are the dining options.  There are 13 restaurants on the property, with some of the most famous celebrity chefs operating them.  To name a few, there is Scott Conant of Scarpetta, Jose Andres at Jaleo, David Meyers from Comme Ca and The One Group brings us STK to name a few!  If gambling isn’t your thing- btw the casino alone could fit 2 football fields, then spend your money in the restaurants.  That’s a buck well spent.

Onto the nightlife, a must for any Las Vegas hotel.  The Marquee Nightclub will officially open on New Year’s Eve and is promising to be the most amazing space on the Las Vegas Strip.  Marquee is more than 62,000 square feet, with 50-foot-tall ceilings and an unparalleled multi-million-dollar sound stage. Coliseum-style seating surrounds a focal dance floor, where one can marvel at the four-story LED screens and projection walls that will display customized light and image shows distinctly tailored for each performance

The outdoor areas of any Las Vegas hotel is just as important as the interior, so it’s good that there are three pools in all, with the Boulevard Pool overlooking the Strip and has a stage for special concerts and events.  The Bamboo Pool is more low-key and is located off of the spa.  The Marquee Dayclub Pool is also run by the TAO Group and has private cabanas, DJ and even an outdoor gaming area.

If you aren’t into games or nightlife (really why are you going to Vegas), you can always shop at the Cosmopolitan.  There are great shops to spend your money at, such as AllSaints and Molly Brown’s Swimwear to name a few.  More stores are set to open in 2011.

With 2000 rooms (with 1000 more coming next spring), you are sure to be able to get a room at a reasonable rate for the near future.
