The most common causes of cold feet are poor circulation or nerve sensation issues, says Harvard Medical School. Raynaud’s syndrome and atherosclerosis also are potential causes.

If you feel like your feet are frequently cold, it’s best to note when this symptom occurs. This will allow your doctor to better determine a cause. For some people, cold feet are normal and can be satisfied with a pair of warm socks, the school says.
