The other night I had a chocolate cake craving which never happens, but this craving  was too strong to ignore.  I had just received my new Food Network Magazine, and figured it was fate.  Inside I saw the recipe of my dreams!  Along with a bunch of others goodies, there was a recipe for instant chocolate cake.  I had all of the ingredients and it took me 5 minutes to make.  Believe me, when the craving hits this will be your go to recipe!

Ingredients:

¼ cup flour

5 tablespoons sugar (or about 6 packets of Splenda)

2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

1 egg

3 tablespoons milk (any will do)

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Dash of vanilla extract

Dash of salt

Cinnamon (optional)

Fat Free Whipped Cream (optional)

Directions:

Whisk flour, sugar, cocoa powder, egg, milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract and salt in a large mug until smooth. Microwave until puffed, about 2 minutes (all microwaves are different, and if you like it more wet then remove earlier). Remove from microwave and top with more cocoa powder.  Add cinnamon and/or whipped cream if you would like.
