Bagels, cereal, and pastries account for the evil early morning Bermuda triangle (start here and you’re lost all day), but during the Paleolithic Age these little everyday devils weren’t around to temp our palates. Cavemen had limited access to processed foods and muffins weren’t really part of the deal. So what were they eating? Click on through.

The diet, nicknames the Caveman diet, is based around eating wholesome, contemporary foods from the food groups our hunter-gatherer ancestors from the Paleolithic Era. This period ranges from 2.6 million years ago to about 10,000 years ago when society saw the emergence of the agricultural revolution.
