It’s officially summer!  I might have just heard a collective groan, as you might not be well on your way to loving your body yet.  It happens. Perfunctory snacking is a beast under every woman’s bed. There’s no better way however, to reset out of control cravings and get your mind (and by default body) right, then with a healthy cleanse.

Orange County-based Nekter Juice Bar (with locations in Costa Mesa, Corona Del Mar, Newport Beach, Dana Point, Long Beach, and opening this summer, Anaheim Hills and Santa Monica) is based on green juice blends, raw nut milk smoothies, and healthy, raw, gluten-free, vegan snacks, including acai bowls.   They are also Nékter launching a nationwide shipping program for their amazing cleanses on July 1, which is right around the corner.

The most impressive thing about Nékter is that they buy 100% of their produce from local growers, and everything they put in their juices is 100% raw and vegan.

Their signature Nekter Cleanse, a one-day to five-day detoxification and reenergizing program, provides approximately 15 pounds of locally grown natural freshly pressed fruits and vegetables daily!  They say that you consume more veggies on the 3-day cleanse than the average American consumes in a year. Nothing wrong with that!

Here is a break down of their flavor offerings, designed to undercut the unapproachable nature of many cleanses offered. You drink six juices per day, the ingredients of which are all words you can pronounce.

Classic Cleanse 1: Spinach, Kale, Parsley, Lime, Mint, Cucumber, Apple, Celery

Classic Cleanse 2: Coconut Water, Pineapple, Cucumber

Classic Cleanse 3: Spinach, Kale, Parsley, Cabbage, Lemon, Apple

Classic Cleanse 4: Lemon, Cayenne Pepper, Agave, Filtered Water

Classic Cleanse 5: Apple, Cucumber, Parsley, Spinach, Lemon, Ginger

Classic Cleanse 6: Cashews, Agave, Vanilla Bean, Filtered Water
