DIYFlowersMother’s Day is around the corner which means it’s the perfect time to start putting together craft ideas to make with your kids. There are SO many amazing project ideas for children of all ages, and something homemade on this holiday is a must.

Whether it’s painting, gluing, coloring, sewing, etc. it’s time to bust out your crafting coupons (Michaels has daily coupons on their app, if you didn’t know already) and stock up on supplies for some heart felt gifting!

Painted Hand Bouquets – This is an awesome idea to include all of your children in one gift. The varying sizes of hands will look adorable, and everyone from baby to tween can be involved!

‘I Love You Because’ Book – Nothing makes a woman feel better than knowing she is appreciated for everything she does. This ‘I Love You Because’ book is such an awesome way to show your appreciation for mama! Watch out, tears may flow from this one.

Paint a Flower Pot – No need to link out for this one. Go to Home Depot, pick up a small clay pot and some flowers to go in it. If you don’t have kid friendly paint at home, pick some up at your local craft store. Hand your kids a brush, and let them go to town paining a pot for mom or grandma!

Painted Apron – If the mom in your life likes to cook or bake, this is the perfect gift. Adding hand and foot prints makes it even more special! Add a love note from the kids or their signature somewhere if they are old enough to write their name, and watch as it quickly becomes mom’s favorite kitchen supply.

Mason Jar Vase – This is a great one for all ages. For the young ones, just add their hand or foot print. For the older kids, let them help you add the color to the jars, and decorate it however they see fit.

For the moms out there: what was the best mother’s day gift you’ve ever received?
