Alright guys and gals, we are reaching the end of the first quarter of the year. How did your New Year’s resolution go? Did you stick to working out more? Lose those last 10lbs? Write a novel?

We have to give ourselves a little pat on the back, as we feel that we’ve been eating better these first few months and adding in more exercise than we’ve done in quite awhile.

Since we don’t exactly LOVE working out, it’s important for us to find quick ways to add in some exercise when we can.

So here you go, 20 minute work outs that include everything from yoga to weight lifting.

20 Minute Yoga Routine – Can’t go wrong with some stretching and strengthening. Here’s a 20 minute yoga routine. Namaste.

Weight Lifting Routine – This one actually only takes 12 minutes! You’re welcome!

20 Minute Run – Running isn’t for everyone, but 20 minutes should be at least a mile, or way more if you are a faster runner than we are! We make it easier on ourselves by doing 1 minute walking/1 minute running intervals.

Go on a 20 minute hike or a brisk walk through your neighborhood. You’d be surprised how great both of those things are for you!

Take a 20 minute bike ride. Go at a fast pace if you can, and enjoy the fresh air outside!

20 Minute Water Work Out

Keeping your body moving for 20 minutes a day can do wonders for your mind and body. It relieves stress and is a great excuse to eat a cupcake when you feel like it. OK so maybe 20 minutes of light walking won’t burn off a cupcake, but it’s worth a try.

We understand sometimes things just get lazy too, and it’s OK to rest when you need. No pressure here!
