partyfavorsIt’s no secret that we love to throw a good party. Any excuse we have to bring our friends together, cook, craft, whatever it may be, we love it.
When we can, we love to send our guests home with a little party favor. What can we say? We love goodie bags!
For our Halloween party last year, we bought a plastic cauldron, filled it with candy, and made some spooky bags to go with it. Now we know Halloween is a hop, skip, and a jump away, but you never know what might inspire you. These were REALLY easy, check it out:
1) Buy some old school brown paper lunch bags and some red paint.
2) Paint your palm with with the paint, and slap it onto the paper bag. The sloppier the better. You want it to look like a bloody palm. You can also splatter the paint on the bag for an extra gross look!
3) Let your guests fill their bags like they were trick or treating, and watch as everyone gets super stoked!

It’s always good to keep your party favor in line with the theme of the evening. If you are doing an 80s movie night, why not put together a little bag of your favorite candy from the time period. There are websites where you can snag them for pretty cheap as well!
Make sure to keep your guests in mind as well. Are they foodies? Movie buffs? Comedy lovers? Show them that you are thinking about them before they’ve even arrived! They will love it, we guarantee.
Here are some other DIY Favors that we love from around the web.
Whichever way you choose to go, the extra effort of having a little gift at the end of an evening with friends is a great way to leave a lasting impression.
