clarisonic2If you’re like me, you’re constantly looking for products and tools to enhance your skin care regimen: between expensive cleansers, exfoliants, and various styles of luffas, I’ve pretty much sampled every trick out there.  That is, until I discovered the Clarisonic Skin Cleansing systems.  Though a little pricy, Clarisonic’s face brushes pay for themselves through their remarkable cleansing and exfoliating abilities.

I, personally, own the Clarisonic Mia Sonic Skin Cleansing System, which is a one-speed, easily portable massaging face brush that comes with a small but strong charger.  Because it’s cordless, I move my brush between the sink and shower daily and due to its smaller size, I never leave home without it.

At the risk of sounding somewhat obsessed, I must say, that since using the Clarisonic Mia, I can no longer wash my face any other way—no other gadget or product leaves my skin as soft and smooth.  However, if you are seeking an extra boost, an exfoliating cleanser can be used instead of a regular face wash.

Aside from its cleansing and clearing abilities, Clarisonic’s massaging action makes for a highly enjoyable, relaxing and almost hypnotizing face washing experience (Please excuse the gushing.  As I said before, I’m somewhat obsessed).  The massaging aspect is set to last for one minute; however, there are many times that I press the button another time or two.

Unlike many luffas and other sponges or face brushes, the Clarisonic never leaves my skin red, irritated or dried out.  There are numerous brush head types available—including deep pore cleansing, soft, normal and so on—allowing you to customize your skin care regimen.  For instance, I usually use a softer head in the morning and a harder, deeper cleaning head at night.  Just remember, as you’re using the Clarisonic, there’s no need to press the brush into your skin, the brush bristles and massaging are designed to clean fully without additional pressure.

Whether your skin is oily, dry, combination or normal and whether you’re young, old or in the process of preemptively fighting signs of aging, check out the variety of Clarisonic Skin Cleansing Systems—they really do have something for everyone…and every face.
