LOL…sorry for the title, couldn’t resist. Check, out this new study I noticed in the Daily Mail (yea, I actually read this stuff…how else am I going to fill this column??) The MindLab Institute found that men are more likely to be woken by howling wind then by their own babies crying……
Sounds harsh, but here’s the interesting part, and it makes sense…..Although, it certainly plays into some of those gender rolls that have become off limits to the PC folks in recent years……

It all makes sense now….this is why my husband jumps out of bed with the 3 iron at 4:00 am if the dog barks, but high pitch crying seems to go in one ear and out the other.
