lemonadeWhen the sun is blazing and the a/c is running, sometimes there’s nothing I want more than a nice cold glass of lemonade. But lemonade on its own can get real old, real fast. So why not try some twists on an old classic with these refreshing and tasty lemonade recipes?

Mint Watermelon Lemonade – Cool mint and the fruit of the summer combine here for a yummy and refreshing beverage that even the kids are sure to adore!

Vodka Lavender Thyme Lemonade – If you’re looking for a more “adult” lemonade, this is it. Fancy-sounding, slightly boozy, cool and invigorating, this will be one drink that will have your guests oohing and ahhing and begging for more.

Strawberry Basil Lemonade – The combination of sweet, juicy ripe strawberries and aromatic basil makes for a delicious and beautifully colored lemonade that you’ll want to make sure you stock in the fridge all summer long.

Ginger Lemonade – Slightly spicy ginger gives this lemonade a little wow factor, and prep for this version couldn’t be any easier. You simply take frozen lemonade concentrate and mix it with a simple syrup made with the ginger, sugar and water.

Blueberry Lemonade – If you haven’t tried blueberry lemonade yet, you gotta. Not only does the addition of fresh blueberries and/or blueberry syrup turn the lemonade the most gorgeous blue-purple hue, it tastes amazing. And blueberries are full of antioxidants, so it’s even (just a tiny bit) good for you!

There are a million other combinations you could try, so why not get inventive and create a few of your own! Happy drinking!
