Mmm French Toast.  Its great in the Summer, but with these holiday tweaks its amazing for the Winter!

Ingredients:

4 slices of bread of your choice (brioche or challah works really well, but a nutty multi-grain is great too)

4 Eggs or 1 cup Egg Substitute

Pumpkin Pie spice

Assorted fresh berries

Whipped cream

Butter, Margarine or cooking spray

Directions:

Pre-heat your skillet on a medium heat.  If you are using cooking spray, spray pan before heating.  You want the pan to be evenly heated before adding  butter or margarine.

Crack eggs and place in a bowl.  Add ½ a teaspoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice to the eggs and whisk well.

Add butter or margarine to pan and even coat bottom.  Dip two slices of bread into mixture, place in pan and cook both sides to a golden brown.  Repeat with the other two slices of bread.

Serve two slices of bread with the Whipped Cream and berries on top.  Dust the top with a dash of pumpkin pie spice for an added flare.

Serves 2

You can make an added impression on guests by making a spiced whipped cream.  Simply add the pumpkin pie spice, or any spice that works (cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, cloves) and rewhip the cream quickly with a balloon whisk.  Your family or guests will be wowed.  Makes a great dessert too!
